Japan where EVERYTHING just Works!!!
Now despite me missing the Suzuka 8 hours race by a week or so & leaving before the next mad Suzuka & Japan GP events due to shitty London work requirements, I still managed to have a great time & also ironically missed a London Ace Cafe 2-Stroke Day event!
But, of course my brother was there & managed to get some great pics still..and I took a few interesting bike & other snaps.
Still what it comes down to really is: 2 weeks just ain't enough for a holiday in Japan!!!
Apart from the newish Z10000 & turd of a 4-stroke: R25 (Dodgey very slow 4-stroke 250 turd from Yamaha...Bring Back TZR's!!!) ...I hear a rumour that Kyoto that: Suzuki are planning to release a 1600cc Busa this year!!! If that's true, then hats off to them!
On a more 70's front I was surprised to come across the weird Ducati-looking Yamaha SRX 250 4-Stroke below... I never saw these\don't think we even had these in the UK.
Even though a 250 LC or TZR would have absolutely killed it, the Japanese owner told me in Japanese that: The police chased hi for miles & miles across 2 prefectures (they must have been driving Morris Minors!) just to ask him: What the bike was!!! Ha Haa!!! It did look weird completely Ducati-like after all!! And the other two pics on the bottom I just liked so I put em on just for the hell of it!!!
So, whilst I was out in Japan on holiday, drinking crazy Happo-shu (beers with spirit shots in it that is completely illegal here in lame UK)...ths is the TWO-STROKE MAYHEM I missed whilst I was away:
