Bring the speed: The Best 2-strokes! Part2 They're not really gone!

Right now for the real speed & power that made 250 2-strokes so popular...before the Mad-ass 500's!!!

NONE of this, and none of the current Superbike Technologies would be so developed,
if it were not for one man... That man was: The Great Ernst Degner, who engineered  & exported an advanced 2-stroke racing bike technology that changed the world...forever! This advanced technology was created by Walter Kaaden in East Germany.

The Japanese company Suzuki hired him (and his knowledge), and in 1962 Degner won Suzuki's first World Championship in the 50cc class.
Ernst Degner, (on the left) defected from East Germany and joined the Suzuki team in late 1961. Degner was an excellent rider but also a brilliant engineer. During the winter 1961—1962 Degner helped Suzuki to develop a new generation of Suzuki two-stroke racing machines. Now witness the Pure Power of "The Holy Grail" otherwise known as the 500 Gamma,
this is where, light-weight & real horsepower & hardcore torque comes into its' own:

Could and will ANYTHING ever surpass this bike?!!: The RG500 Gamma

Then the ripping KR-1S!:

The speed of these KR-1s' was enough for it to keep up with pretty much anything for a good few gears
when it came out.. And of course it was the fastest 250 in its' class and was more like the speed of a 350 or
400cc bike! Crazy!!! Wouldn't it be awesome to have another 250 like this produced?!!

Look at that speed!!! It's the same as a Race Track Powervalve!!!

Now, a good 30 Years after these crazy 2-strokes were everywhere, and so popular,
they are actually making a comeback on the road thanks to 2 companies: Ronax, and Suter.

Both of these companies have had these 2-Strole 500cc projects in the pipeline for a while.
The astonishing thing is: The Suter has 195bhp & it's only a 576cc bike!
The popular top-end 1000cc bikes we see today like the GSRX-R, Fireblade, R1, & ZX10
are all around 200bhp, that's only 5bhp more than the Suter MMX500!
Here it is with a great overview: Suter were also at the Isle of Man TT 2016 too with their new awesome 576cc offering: Both these 2-strokes are modelled around 1980s GP Race bikes like the RG500 Gamma & the RD500 etc, and the Suta is made for the track... However, the Ronax 500 is actually a street version that will be like having a GP racer 500 on the road!!! It will not be cheap, but it's the start of a 2-stroke revival:
